Fire Dance

Slow danced with the devil tonight.
Heaven's light flows through my body.
No dimmer than a gleam of light
that fell upon my sin,
the way it danced upon my skin.

Frail and battered
The night pours lightly into my fading soul.
Searching for an answer
between your deadly arms
like my scars, you split open my heart
nowhere to go,
nowhere to hide,
your weeping tears of gold and that flashing silver smile
conceals brilliantly your plastic heart

Seal my fate with the kiss of a flame,
Find me sailing in the waves of fire
I stood fooled in the heat of your games
as you shone your angel eyes,
while all my heart desired to fly.

So there I spilled blood for a fatal rose
To the fire dance I go.

So long, farewell, my charming trance.
Meet you at the fire dance.
